H.S.D. (Humam) Soeti holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Universitas Indonesia and a master's degree in econometrics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In his master's thesis, Humam reexamined robust regression using k-Means algorithm with an empirical application to equity premium prediction. Under the supervision of Dr. L. Hoesch, he successfully defended the thesis on August 19, 2022. As of January 2023, Humam assumes the junior lecturer position at Utrecht University under the direction of Dr. R.J. Galema.
