Claudia Vásquez-Caicedo Rainero is a recent graduate of the RMA in Comparative Literary Studies programme at Utrecht University. She is now part of the teaching staff of the Literary Studies BA at the same institution. She completed her BA in Hispanic Literature (Pontifical Catholic University of Peru), where she focused on discourse analysis, gender, and postcolonial power structures in Peruvian short stories. Her main interests and projects revolve around cultural memory, decolonial studies, and aesthetics in contemporary narratives, particularly in Latin America.
She is currently editor-in-chief of FRAME Journal of Literary Studies, run by students and former students of Utrecht University.
