Dr. Figueiredo is an assistant professor trained in exposure sciences, epidemiology, toxicology and environmental health. He has been involved in different measuring and modelling efforts on several projects, involving both fate of chemicals in the environment and exposure of humans and animals to these. He was heavily involved in the OBO project (research into pesticide exposure from residents in the Netherlands). He is a work package co-lead in the SPRINT-H2020 project and co-investigator in the VHP4Safety (NWO funded). His current research lines are 1) assessing the pesticide exposome (exposure throughout a lifetime) of humans and ecosystems, 2) deterministic modelling of exposures and 3) planetary health
