Andreia studied Economics at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, (2013-2017) and went on exchange to Antwerp at the Antwerpen Universitieit (2015-2016). After her bachelor's degree she worked for BNP PARIBAS GFS and for an Initiative for Social Innovation, Portugal Inovação Social, in Portugal. or

In 2019 she started her Master in Economic Policy, writing her thesis on the impact  of Automatic Exchange of Information on the amount of taxes evaded by European countries. If the United States would adhere to AEOI, European countries would most probably evade less, since this mechanism will shield their attempts. During her studies she was a member of the Study Association ECU'92 (2019-2020), first integrating the Master Community of Economics and afterwards as an Advisory Board member (2020-2021).

In June 2020 she was elected for the University Council on behalf of Lijst VUUR. As a council member she was PR commissioner, member of the committee Strategy Housing and Organization and had Internationalisation has her portfolio of expertise; contact person for ISO, the Faculty of Geo Sciences and UCR.

Graduated in August 2021, Andreia is Junior Lecturer at U.S.E. for the BSc Economics and Business Economics.
