Fer is a young researcher at University of Granada -Spain- (Faculty of Sport Sciences) and a PhD candidate in psychology at Utrecht University. His research focuses on positive health, understanding that health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity [1].

Currently, his main topic is to identify resilience [2] factors in adjustment to fibromyalgia [3] Additionally, Fer is a researcher in two randomized controlled trials aimed at investigating the effects of exercise interventions on quality of life of these populations (the al-Andalus project [5] and the FLAMENCO study).
