Researching coastal river delta adaptation to environmental changes like sea-level rise, climate change, and direct human impacts. Focusing on how to use natural delta processes and resources to support sustainable delta environments and societies.
I moved to Utrecht at the end of 2018 to join the Water, Climate, and Future Deltas hub within the Pathways to Sustainability theme, researching river fluxes to deltas worldwide for 3 years. I then joined the ERC project GEOWAT: A Global Assessment of the Limits of Groundwater Use, working with PCR-GLOBWB to investigate surface and groundwater, contributing to assessment of global groundwater stocks.
