UU processes your personal data because this is necessary for the performance of the agreement that Utrecht University has entered into with you.

4. Sharing data with third parties

By order of UU, third parties can take care of certain parts of the service provision in order to execute an agreement. UU makes agreements with these processors to guarantee confidentiality and careful handling of personal data. These agreements are laid down in so-called 'processing agreements'.

Your personal data will not be rented, sold or otherwise shared with or provided to third parties. The UU may share your (personal) data with third parties if, for example, you have given permission for this or if it is necessary for the execution of the agreement.

Please note that it may be necessary to provide a copy of an identification document in order to verify your identity.

Making a secure copy of your ID is easy with the government's 'Copy ID' app, which you can download from the app store.

Please send your request to the following email address: privacy@uu.nl and note in the subject line what the request is about.

You are also entitled to lodge a complaint about the use of your data with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
