Internship possibilities

We always have internship positions for enthusiastic and motivated students of both bachelor and master level. In structural biology, the projects involve mainly laboratory work (protein expression and purification, cell culture and engineering, biochemical and biophysical assays, protein crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, cryo-fluorescence light microscopy, correlative light-and-electron microscopy). No specific prior course work is required, but some knowledge of basic biochemistry and cell biology can be useful. In methods development (crystallography and cryo-EM) and chemical crystallography, the projects mostly include computer work.
