Conferences

The Freudenthal Institute organises a number of annual conferences. Some highlights (links in Dutch):

  • U-Talent conference
Every spring, U-Talent organizes a conference for teachers, school leaders and TOAs from secondary education. With lectures and working groups there is plenty of opportunity for teacher professionalization.
  • Woudschoten Physics Conference
A meeting place full of energy, for and by chemistry teachers and TOAs. It gurgles and bubbles. Good ideas and new connections are created. New energy is gained for exciting lessons.
  • WND Conference
The conference for physics teachers. Every year there are various lectures, working groups and competitions around a central theme. There is also an information market every year.
  • National Mathematics Days
As a math teacher, you need to be able to get new ideas from time to time and be creative and active in your subject. This can be done by listening to a good story, by actively participating in working groups and by exchanging ideas with colleagues. The NWD offers that opportunity.
  • ECENT/ELWiER conference
The teacher education conference, each year with a number of workshoprounds and lectures.
  • Panama conference
The conference for mathematics professionals (Pabo teachers, educational consultants, researchers and developers, authors and publishers, teachers and arithmetic coordinators).
