Improving your English Skills

Would you like to improve your English?
Are you living in the AZC Utrecht (Joseph Haydnlaan) or are you living in one of the following Utrecht neighborhoods: Oog in Al, Lombok, Halve Maan, Transwijk or Kanaleneiland? Then you can follow English courses for free at the Volksuniversiteit. You can even take the Cambridge exam through them, if your English level is sufficient enough.

If you don't live in the AZC Utrecht or one of the neighborhoods mentioned, you can follow English language classes for a reasonable price at the English Academy for Newcomers (EAN).

Ukrainian refugees
For Ukrainian students interested in improving their English level: the Volksuniversiteit Utrecht offers free courses to Urkainian refugees on different days of the week. If you email them, they can determine your level and advice you on which classes to follow. See more information on this website.
