Lili’s Proto Lab

Lili’s Proto Lab is a facility of Utrecht University where student-teams and employees can design and fabricate prototypes.

The aim is to pursue challenge-based projects and to contribute directly to larger UU-interdisciplinary projects in strategic areas of fundamental science, education, open science, and sustainability. This space features prototyping spaces such as a Fablab, innovation or a maker space.

Students and employees of Utrecht University can walk by or subscribe to Lili’s Proto Lab. Here they can connect, share experience, and test the feasibility of their ideas by building physical prototypes for courses or projects.

Our aim for the Proto Lab is to enhance interdisciplinary working between students, elevate the ambition level for challenge-based education, and create higher (national) visibility for the Science Faculty at Utrecht University. Currently, we are accepting new projects with a special interest in education and research. Visit us during walk in hours (13:00 – 17:00) or mail us at lpl@uu.nl
