Master's Open Day

Twice a year, we organise a Master’s Open Day where you can get to know our programme History of Politics and Society. You can join our information session, talk to our students and staff, and find out if this is the Master's for you.

General session for students of Universities of Applied Sciences (HBO)

The Faculty of Humanities will organise a general session for students of Dutch Universities of Applied Sciences who are interested in doing a Master’s programme, in which the main differences between 'hbo' and 'wo' are discussed ('Van hbo naar wo: ervaringen van onze premasterstudenten').

Dr Irina Marin is Programme Coordinator 

Irina Marin is Assistant Professor in Political History and a core teacher of the Master's programme in History. In this capacity she is in charge of MA theses, admissions and tutoring. She specializes in Modern European History with emphasis on Central and Eastern European history, in particular the social dynamics of imperial borderlands, nationalism and identity politics as well as social violence.
