Programme and line-up
On March 28th, Utrecht University and Parnassos Cultural Centre present Uunited; the largest student music festival in the Netherlands. In TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, student musical ensembles and alumni - such as the well-known choir Dekoor Close Harmony and the Utrechtsch Studenten Concert - will perform together with top artists such as Spinvis, Wouter Hamel, Handsome Poets, Ingmar Heytze and TV chef Rudolph van Veen. You won’t see so many students perform at such a high level in any other city!

Admire an amazing big band that will blow you away, as well as choirs that will give you goosebumps and several talented orchestras that have all performed on the largest (inter)national stages. The KOSMU consists of about 450 members, all young and talented Utrecht students who share a passion for music. Each of the eight ensembles will embark on a unique collaboration with a guest artist. For example, the Utrechtsch Studenten Concert will present a surprising show together with Spinvis, and poet Ingmar Heytze will take on the role of storyteller during the mini-Matthaüs by the Utrechts Studenten Koor en Orkest (USKO). And that’s not all… Be amazed by the beautiful Music by Oceans - a musical collaboration of oceanographer and UU employee Erik van Saboo and composer Stef Veld, or listen to Das Sound Kollektiv, Fruity Island Boys & Young Jazz Society. UUnited ends the night with a smashing performance by the Handsome Poets, and a Pop-O-Matic afterparty. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable evening full of musical surprises!
