Annual Donor Event

Each year, all donors and Friends of the Utrecht University Fund will be invited to our annual meeting*. During this event ,we thank everyone personally and show which projects have been made possible while enjoying a snack and a drink. The proceeds of that year's Pay It Forward campaign will also be announced.

*Due to the corona crisis there will be no face-to-face event in 2020.

2019

Last fall, the annual meeting of the Utrecht University Fund took place. Donors, friends and other guests came together. During this festive morning, Lodewijk Hijmans van den Bergh, chairman of the Utrecht University Fund, also announced the proceeds of the 2019 Pay it Forward campaign. More than € 133,000 has been donated to the scholarship program, biodiversity, refugee students and education in the butterfly greenhouse.

Giving for knowledge
The Utrecht University Fund helps realizing beautiful projects in the fields of research, education, student life and academic heritage. This year's theme dovetailed seamlessly with this: giving for knowledge. Nine of these special research and education projects were highlighted in an exhibition. From research into the women's heart to digitizing the enormous photo archive of the Utrecht Student Corps.
