Katell Lavéant receives Vidi grant for research on parodies in the Low Countries (13e tot 17e eeuw)

Fifteen researchers from Utrecht University and the UMC Utrecht have received a Vidi grant from the NWO, each of 800,000 euros maximum. This allows the talents to develop a personal research project in the coming five years and to constitute a research team. Dr Katell Lavéant (ICON, Literature) is one of the fifteen recipients at Utrecht University. She will study how parodies have been essential to social cohesion in the Low Countries and its surroundings in the period of the 13th til the 17th century.
