Racism Matters. Towards a more diverse and inclusive educational environment at UU

to
black lives matter @UU creating change

What does race and racism mean to you? What has been your experience as a student at UU?  How can we work towards a more diverse and inclusive educational environment? The fight against racism is fundamental to all aspects of society, including education, and this is the reason why UU took the initiative to address the issue.

If you are interested in discussing these questions, the Centre for Global Challenges together with the Gender and Diversity Hub would like to invite you to join a public event that will be organized as part of the BLM @UU Creating Change series. The aim of the event is to have a conversation about the students’ experience with issues of diversity and racism at UU to think together how the university could respond to students’ needs, ideas and suggestions.

The event will be a panel discussion with UU students and alumni followed by a Q&A session with the audience and moderated by Jamila Mascat (Graduate Gender Programme, MCW; Faculty of the Humanities).
