Join the public launch of the Utrecht University Utrecht University Centre for Global Challenges (UGlobe) Flagship Initiative “Entrepreneurship-Led Sustainable Development in Africa”, on April 24.
Through this initiative, we aim to increase understanding of how entrepreneurship can effectively address societal challenges and promote sustainable development, with actionable knowledge, tools, data and partnerships, both in Africa and globally.
Entrepreneurship-led Sustainable Development in Africa
- Cultivating home-grown solutions driven by locally embedded entrepreneurs
Our team, led by Prof. Erik Stam, is dedicated to advance understanding regarding how entrepreneurship can effectively tackle societal challenges and foster sustainable development, both within Africa and on a global scale. Through our core projects (outlined below), we develop a data-and-dialogue driven entrepreneurial ecosystem approach to better achieve sustainable development.
With data and dialogue we co-create knowledge on improving the conditions for entrepreneurship to achieve sustainable development.
