Maarten JM van Son (1946)

Occupied a chair clinical psychology at Utrecht University from 1991- 2011. since 2011 emeritus professor UUheld various positions in the organisation of his facultyactive in research, education and clinical practice

Was active in various organisations for healthcare professions in particular the Dutch Organisation of Psychologists (NIP) and the Dutch association for behavioural & cognitive therapy (VGCt). 

Was active in the introduction of a new educational system for post master education in health care psychology and the advanced education in clinical psychology in the netherlands.

Dean of the postmaster programme for health care psychologists and of the program for clincial psychogists (collaboration of UU, regional healthcare institutions and the institute for eduction in the health care professions RINO-Utrecht)

Member of the Dutch Disciplinary Council for the Health Care Professions  and member of the Disciplinary Council for Psychologists(NIP).
