Margot Peeters received in 2009 her Research Master degree (Behavioral Science Institute) at the Radboud University of Nijmegen. In 2014 she received her PhD degree (Cum Laude) at the University of Utrecht (UU; prof. Wilma Vollebergh and prof. Reinout Wiers) focusing on the development of alcohol and substance use in (at-risk) adolescents. From 2014 to 2017 she was a post-doc within the Consortium on Individual Development. Currently, she is Associate Professor (with ius Promovendi) at the department of Interdisciplinary Social Science; Youth Studies (UU).
