Next to my role as teacher, course coordinator and examiner of several (interdisciplinary) Bachelor courses, I am involved in various curriculum development- and teaching innovation projects. Within these projects, I mainly focus on blended learning, interdisciplinary education and collaborative learning, both in an on-campus and an online (international) setting. In addition, I study the relationship between learning communities in diverse student populations and study success, with which I hope to contribute to our understanding of how we can design an optimal social learning environment that best supports the learning process and professional development of all our students. My strength lies in an effective translation of current theories and new insights on teaching to the daily teaching practice and educational environment.
