Zoë Rejaän works as a postdoctoral researcher in the research group Youth and Family at the Department of Education and Pedagogy at Utrecht University. Her research focus is parental divorce and child adjustment.

In 2022, Zoë finished her doctoral thesis on the belongingness of children growing up in multiple families or homes after divorce: ‘Two Places to Call Home: (Co)Parenting and Adolescents’ Sense of Belonging After Divorce'. Currently, Zoë is part of a interdisciplinary research team examining child participation following parental divorce and separation: ‘Hear Hear!’. In addition, she conducts practice-based research into the effectiveness of a divorce intervention, and is involved as a co-author in the guidelines on divorce for youth professionals.
