My name is Yuheng Chen (You can call me Chen in Chinese tradition), and my promotor is Dr. Katie. The content of my doctoral plan is related to grassland biodiversity ecosystem function (BEF). I want to know the amazing role of biodiversity in mitigating the negative impacts of climate change.  

I come from China and finished my master's degree in macroecology in Nanjing Forestry University. I studied phylogeny and biogeography there. I like ecology because I can get close to nature and enjoy the scenery. Meanwhile, I am also very interested in landscape photography. I am looking forward to studying in the E&B research group. I hope to meet new friends here, get new ideas, and, of course, publish great papers.
