Willemijn is the programme manager for International cooperation in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. In this role, she is responsible for growing partnerships. She advises the board in making strategic decisions in this field as well as the development of policy. We would like to offer students a broader perspective of the world and specifically Veterinary Medicine by gaining international experience. To continue our innovative research, it is essential to continuously grow a strong international network. This network will support us in effectively using our available resources and in winning international subsidies.

Willemijn has worked in international education for 10 years, after gaining experience in international business. She has performed in roles managing teams, programmes and projects. She enjoys helping students to build a clear perspective on themselves and their talents and believes international experience and intercultural communication are solid means to broadening one’s horizon. She has been part of many initiatives where an international network contributed significantly to the growth of an organization and the people working in it.
