Plant Stress Resilience

As a plant biologist, my research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of plant adaptation to high-altitude environments. With the increasing temperatures due to climate change, lowland plants may need to migrate to higher altitudes, where they will encounter additional stressors such as oxygen limitations and high light intensity. By employing advanced molecular biology techniques, I investigate the adaptive responses of various plant lines and accessions from different altitudinal gradients. This research aims to elucidate the genetic and physiological strategies that enable plants to thrive under these challenging conditions, ultimately contributing to our understanding of plant resilience in the face of climate change.
