Udeke's role at the Research Hub 'Towards Industry with Negative Emissions' is to connect knowledge needs of industry with scientific research on the decarbonisation of the industry. She combines this role this with research on scenario analysis to develop decision-useful information for industry investments in energy transitions. This participative action research with dutch companies investigates how the combined application of scenario analysis and option valuation support industry transitions to a low carbon and circular economy. Further, she is member of the monitoring committee on the Agreement on International Responsible Investment for the Pensions Sector and insurance sector and member of the technical working group of the Carbon Disclosure Standards Board.

  • Deloitte (10 years): Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Expert for Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, Deloitte Risk Advisory and Deloitte Accountants B.V. Example clients (Ahold, Alliander, Desso, Dutch Central Bank, Heineken, IKEA, MN Services, Mourik, Rockwool, Vesteda, Vopak and others);
  • Member of the ESG-working group of the Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Integrated Reporting Working Group of Grote Bedrijvennetwerk MVO Nederland;
  • KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (7 years): Director Sustainability, responsible for the development and implementation of KLM’s ESG- policy, environmental management system and sustainability reporting;
  • Grontmij Consulting Engineers (5 years) she managed national- and international business development projects for water- and waste management companies. Execution of range of environmental impact assessments for infrastructural projects (e.g. road, water, waste, airport);
  • Inspectorate of the Environment, Dutch Ministry of the Environment (5 years) Compliance officer (first- and second line supervision on environmental legislation);
  • Educational roles (5 years): Teaching qualification for chemistry and biology.
