Tijs was involved in both the Bachelor as well as the Master of Veterinary Science. Currently his direct responsibilities have been reduced as he is now employed at Royal GD in Deventer. Tijs is to be approached as potential supervisor in the Master Veterinary Science as well as the MSc Epidemiology in case the pig is subject of research. Tijs is available for ad hoc teaching or consultancy for PHS-FAH.

Together with Ellen Deelen, Tijs initiated and coordinated the elective course 'Euthanasia of Animals' in the Master of Veterinary Science. The course will be continued by Joachim Nieuwland and Ellen Deelen.
