I am a PhD candidate at the department of methods and statistics at Utrecht University since September of 2019. Prior to this, I obtained my Bachelor in Biological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), and I moved to the Netherlands where I completed a Master in Science in Methodology and Statistics at Utrecht University.

The ultimate goal of my PhD project is to develop methodological tools that help applied researchers to exploit the richness of their data. In particular, my efforts are focused on extending the models available to analyse intense longitudinal data and time series. Rather than using traditional final time statistics, we propose that one can gain insights on the behaviours under study by modelling their dynamics over time. For this purpose, the models of choice are the Bayesian hidden Markov models.
