In addition to her research, Sabine works as a freelance philosophy of science with a strong focus on the philosophy of space. She teaches philosophy at ArtEZ University of the Arts, offers annual courses in film and philosophy, and creates interdisciplinary research programs in the field of art and technology.

Sabine is the founder of Future Based, an interdisciplinary philosophy platform that organizes discussions with experts in their fields to promote a deeper understanding of the world in which we live. From January to July 2023, Sabine conducted research on the role of imagination in space science at the Advanced Concepts Team of the European Space Agency.
