I am an assistant professor at the Freudenthal Institute.
I focus on mathematics teacher education, invesitgating how pre- and in-service teachers learn responsive teaching practices, particularly teacher professionals noticing of students’ mathematical thinking.
Lately, I have been exploring how teacher noticing can support teachers when they adopt new ways of teaching mathematics, such as integrating socio-ecological issues and 3D design and printing.
My research aims to support teachers’ professional journey, highlighting their perspectives, ambitions, and growth.
