I am presently a guest researcher at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University. I was a Marie Sklodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow at the institute from Aug 2021 - July 2023. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Dutch Institute for Emergent Phenomenon (DIEP) and Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics (IBED), University of Amsterdam.

I am interested to understand patterns and processes in ecology at different scales of organization, space and time. I use mathematical and computational approaches to develop a fundamental understanding of response and functioning of ecosystems which will aid in encountering present day challenges. My focus is to address questions on pressing issues such as impact of global change, ecosystem stability, and ecology and spread of infectious diseases with overlap among these different research lines.
