Sophie Melchers graduated in 2021 in the field of international and European law at Tilburg University. Before that she complete two undergraduate degrees in both Social Psychology & Data Science as well as Global Law, also at Tilburg University. At the moment she is a PhD candidate as part of the AquaConnect project and part of the UCWOSL research group at Utrecht University. She researches the role of the law in creating a circulair economy of water.
