Dr. Saskia Salwey

Researcher
Hazards and Earth Observation

Saskia is a Post Doctoral Researcher working on the ERC MultiDry project with Niko Wanders (Principal Investigator), Jonna van Mourik and Denise Ruijsch (PhD candidates). In this project she is working on linking water demand and groundwater dynamics to drought duration, propagation and dynamics.

Prior to this, Saskia spent a year working as a Post Doctoral Researcher on the DAFNI-USARIS project with Francesca Pianosi (Principal Investigator) at the University of Bristol where her research focused on using uncertainty quantification and sensitivity analysis analyse the resillience of models from the water and energy sectors.

Saskia did her PhD at the University of Bristol which focused on quantifying reservoir impacts on river flows across Great Britain through large-sample hydrology and large-scale hydrological modelling.
