Before joining U.S.E, Raginee worked as an Assistant Professor at EDHEC Business School in Lille. Raginee holds a PhD in Accounting from Maastricht University. She also received her research master’s degree in financial economics from Maastricht University. Prior to academia, Raginee worked as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Raginee’s research work explores the usage of different management controls as a ‘inter-dependent system of controls’ to select and motivate workforce. In addition, her job-market paper explores the role of executive compensation in addressing control problems that go beyond the traditional incentive concerns. Raginee’s research interests also lie in executives’ strategic decision making with respect to sustainable investments.
At U.S.E., Raginee will teach two master’s courses, namely, Financial Management and Financial Statement Analysis and one bachelor’s course, namely, Management Accounting and Corporate Decision-making.
