Rutger Schilpzand is a researcher for the FIRMBACKBONE infrastructure, which provides detailed firm-level data. He completed his master in International Economics in 2013 and his master in Law in 2014. Afterwards he worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Radboud University and the UvA. He is currently finishing his PhD on economic growth. He is also an editor for the Dutch economist magazine ESB.
Research interest mainly gravitate long-run economic growth. Deep determinants which cause economic growth. The growth resilience of countries after shocks. The effects inequality and poverty have on economic growth
