Our research aims to understand how intracellular membrane transport contributes to the regulation of plasma membrane remodeling. This housekeeping process is conserved in all eukaryotic cells underscoring its essential role in the normal execution of a large variety of cellular functions.

Present research concentrates on the initial stage of this process which includes the mechanisms for maintenance and regulation of protein (mis)folding, with a focus on stress responses and impact on disease.
