Working both in the groups of Condensed Matter and Interfaces and Organic Chemistry and Catalysis, my interests span a broad range of chemistry and physics around the central theme of atomically well-defined graphene nanosystems and molecular electronics. As I am one of the recipients of the Debye Institute for Nanomaterials grant proposal competition, I have been given the opportunity to work on my own project. My research involves organic synthesis and characterization, scanning tunneling and atomic force microscopy (STM/AFM) and computational electronic structure determination.
