Nina Bohm is a reflective and approachable educational researcher with a background in urban design and science communication. In her research, she investigates courses and curricula that build sustainability competencies. Her PhD research at the TU Delft took a specific interest in how students learn to deal with uncertainty.
Previously, Nina worked as an education coordinator at AMS Institute in Amsterdam, where she developed living labs in the joint degree master program MSc MADE. In those living labs, students work on urban sustainability challenges, such as the energy transition or the development of a circular economy. Both MSc MADE and the TU Delft have been case-study environments in her PhD research.
At the Copernicus Institute, she works on design thinking within sustainability education. Additionally, she is coordinator of the Utrecht2040 Game.
