I am a researcher and lecturer in astrophysics and gravitational waves at both Nikhef (Amsterdam) and Utrecht University.
I created the popular-astronomy website hemel.waarnemen.com, which offers information on events in the (night) sky that can be observed with simple means (the unaided eye, binoculairs, a small telescope) and/or are interesting to the general public, from the interested lay person to the fanatic amateur astronomer. The website is aimed at the Netherlands and Belgium, is in Dutch/Flemish and draws 1-2 million unique visits a year.
