I took the bachelor's degree in Law with the minor in Conflict Studies at Utrecht University between 2016 and 2020. Afterwards, I followed the master Dutch Criminal Law with the master-minor in Public International Law. I have a broad interest in Public Law and work from a multidimensional perspective. This is evident in my thesis work, where my bachelor thesis is about the applicability of International Humanitarian Law of War to the conflict in Northern Ireland. Subsequently, my master's thesis shows my affinity with human rights, where the criminal enforcement curfew as a corona measure is tested against the right to the protection of privacy under Article 8 ECHR. For me it is important that the law prevails in times of crisis. If action must be taken quickly, the legal guarantees must still be observed.

During my studies I did volunteer work at Save the Children and the Red Cross. Finally, i did an internship at the Royal Military School Airforce in Woensdrecht. Here I provided education to military personnel in training.

Since August 2022 I am working as a junior lecturer at Utrecht University
