Marijana Marelj did her PhD (cum laude) in theoretical linguistics at the Utrecht University (UiL OTS), under the supervison of Tanya Reinhart and Eric Reuland, and her postdoctoral track at the University of Connecticut (USA) and at the Utrecht University. Her core research is at the lexicon-syntax-semantics interfaces, specifically focusing on the linguistic coding of causality and volitionality in natural language.
