Marjolijn Vermande is interested in psychosocial problems of children and adolescents.

Her research focuses on peer relations, including a child’s social standing in peer groups (e.g., dominance), aggression and prosociality, bullying and victimization, and friendship.

Her teaching expertise is on children’s and adolescents’ psychosocial development in context.
