Milande Busquet works as parttime lecturer in social and sustainable entrepreneurship at U.S.E., combining this with freelance projects as qualified surf instructor.
She is currently finishing her PhD on social entrepreneurship and the role of private actors in promoting social and sustainable cocoa value chain practices.
Milande holds a MSc in International Development Studies from Utrecht University and a BA in Communication and Information Studies from Groningen University. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, Milande worked as research consultant in several developing countries for the Shared Value Foundation (hosted by Utrecht University) and has worked for various (social) enterprises.
