I am an Assistant Professor affiliated with the Theoretical Biology and Bioinformatics (IBB) and the Experimental and Computational Plant Development (IEB) groups. This combined position enables my research group to employ an integrative computational-experimental approach to delve deeper into the study of plant development. Specifically I model plant responses to unfavorable temperature and water conditions (as part of the PlantXR programme and affiliated to the Translational Plant Biology group), and the self-organization of a new stem cell niche during root regeneration.
