Since 2005 Madelinde Winnubst is conducting a longitidunal study on flood safety plans in the river landscape. Her research interest encompasses the impact of spatial plans on citizens' daily life and lifelihood and how they deal with the consequences. Other research topics are social cohesion in suburbs and villages.
