M.E. (Mirjam) de Graaf MSc
PhD Candidate
Mirjam de Graaf is PhD student under the supervision of prof. dr. ir. Bert Weckhuysen en dr. Eline Hutter. Her research focuses on developing a coating for the removal of harmful and/or odorous indoor air pollutants. This can be done by using catalytic materials that can react with either indoor or outdoor light (e.g. LED light or sunlight, respectively) to photocatalytically degrade the pollutants. Ideally, such a system can be incorporated in a paint, which can be applied to e.g. walls or pieces of furniture.
