Martje received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and earned her MSc in Culture, Organization and Management from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Since 2009, she has been working at Utrecht University as a Communications Consultant for various large research projects. As from March 2020 she works as Manager Communications & Operations for the Exposome Support Office.
