Tryfonidou finished a two-year training program according to the university lecturer qualifications (Basic qualification for Education; pre-requisite for tenured position) and was honoured with the Best Junior teacher Award in 2006. She has worked on the development of the new master course “Regenerative Medicine” and teaches developmental biology of the skeleton. Furthermore, she is regularly supervisor of doctorate students on their research student-thesis (each for 1 year), as well for bachelor students for their 3-month research period.
