Leslie has a background in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, physiology, and methods and statistics. Her doctoral research focused on deviations from rational beliefs across a variety of domains of psychology, borrowing methods from experimental economics. After obtaining her PhD (2014), she has been a lecturer for several years and was involved in various courses. Her interests include self perception, biases, interpersonal relationships, and motivation. She is also very interested in higher education: curriculum design, learning, teaching, and assessment.
