I am conducting an experiment to minimize email. Instead, I aim to talk with people and to make space for deep concentration. Working title: "If you email, you get a reply. If you talk, you get a conversation". In addition, I want to be able to concentrate deeply. See my article where I show why deep concentration crucial. To achieve this, I have developed the following guidelines:
Students: Please ask your questions during the regular classes. Do not email your questions.
Review requests: I review for journals where I am on the editorial board or where I submit manuscripts. I cannot review for other journals or publishers.
PhD supervision: I already supervise various PhD-students. I cannot accept other PhD-students at the moment.
Articles & books: You do not have to email me about articles. All my articles are open access. They can be accessed via Google Scholar, Researchgate, or Narcis. Books can be purchased via the usual routes.
Media: If you want an interview, the fastest way is to contact our office email or call +31 30 253 81 01. They can contact me.
Presentations: I regularly give presentations about leadership, influence strategies at work, nudging, and behavior change. You can email me at L.G.Tummers@uu.nl.
I will check my email on Mondays and Thursdays during most weeks. I will not respond to all messages. If the message is urgent, please call our office or +31 30 253 81 01.
Best,
Lars
