- co-organised the NOISE summer school at Utrecht University, with Jamila Mascat and Gianmaria Colpani, entitled Reclaiming Critique in Times of Crisis: Queer and Postcolonial Interventions..
- curated the symposium Thinking With Stuart Hall: Critical Dialogies in Art and Culture at the Beirut Art Center on the work of the late cultural theorist Stuart Hall. The symposium brought together British and Arab Cultural Studies scholars to address the legacy of Hall's thinking in both fields.
- co-curated the exhibition What is Left Unseen at the Centraal Museum (Utrecht, 2019). The exhibition juxtaposed works from the museum archive with contemporary art to expose the contested histories of race in Europe as they are entangled with slavery and colonialism.
- Member of CRIDE (Critical Decoloniality in the Musuem) with Rolando Vazquez, Kathrin Thiele and Birgit Kaiser (Terra Critica) and Domitilla Olivieri.
- Other public engagements include talks at the Tate Modern (London, 2016) The Institute of International Visual Arts (London, 2013), Beirut Art Center (Beirut, 2015), the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London, 2017) and Centraal Musuem (Utrecht, 2019); as well as conferences and invited lectures in multiple academic fora, including the Lebanese University - Media Faculty, University of Oxford - Ruskin School of Fine Arts, University of London- SOAS , University of Konstanz- Germany, Erasmus University College- NL, New York University.
